Regional information

Kucukcekmece, is a huge district spanning the Kucukcekmece lake, from the Airport all the way up to Mall of Istanbul. This complex is in Atakent, with it being an almost replica of elite Atakoy. There are no poorly built 70s stock here, only large scale secure compounds.

This means, Atakent is home to several private hospitals and colleges, and as a result is a hotbed of middle class Turks. Turks love the region due to its organised nature, its large parks, and easy access to all parts of Istanbul. Life here is relaxing, and is a real aspirational district for Turks.

Investment information

Pricing in Atakent is the highest for all of Kucukcekmece on the whole, and for a good reason. Whilst other parts of Kucukcekmece have old style 70s stock, or old empty factories, Atakent is a paradise amongst this chaos.

Yet Atakent is expected to grow further. With two metro lines under construction, one linking to Taksim/Sisli, and the other to the airport and historic Fatih, Turks will continue to buy here, and not rent. This makes Atakents rental return poor in comparison to the Istanbul average, but price appreciation is excellent, and expected to continue.
