Regional information

Bosphorus front villas rarely change hands, and construction is limited in general to two storeys.

Very rarely, in areas like Maslak, and Seyrantepe, tall skyscrapers have been allowed - yet these will be restricted to a very small number. Hence upon completion, high quality complexes will be in short supply, yet demand remains very high.

This has pushed prices in the region, and this means rental yield is below the Istanbul average. A purchase in this region from an investment aspect will be based on the capital appreciation, and not the yield.
