Atakoy is part of Bakirkoy and is one of Istanbul's oldest neighbourhoods, and is within touching distance of the historic peninsula. Hugging the Marmara sea coast, Bakirkoy is home to many branded malls, and dozens of large scale private hospitals. It's also home to two of Turkey's largest hospitals, as well as the elite Atakoy Marina - where the rich and famous come out to play.
